A Multi-faith Celebration of the Commonwealth will be held at the Australian Centre for Christianity and Culture (corner King’s Avenue and Blackall Street, Barton) at 10am on Commonwealth Day Monday 10 March 2008.
The Celebration is modelled on the Commonwealth Observance which Her Majesty the Queen attends in Westminster Abbey each Commonwealth Day. The theme for the Celebration this year is: The Environment: Our Future.
Local leaders of major world religions will participate in the reading of six affirmations. The Celebration will feature indigenous participation, cultural performances, a Tongan Choir, A Chinese group, a Ugandan quartet and the Woden Valley Youth Choir.
All are invited to come and participate. Parking is available in the grounds.

May 2007 - Today's Zimbabwe
The CRTA, in association with the Centre for International Governance and Justice and the African Studies Association of Australiasia and Pacific presented Archbishop Pius Alick Ncube, Catholic Archbishop of Bulawayo. The lecture was held at the Coombs Lecture Theatre, Australian National University on Wednesday 9 May.
April 2007 - Annual Commonwealth Lecture in Australia
Sponsored by the Commonwealth Round Table in Australia was given by our Patron The Rt Hon Malcolm Fraser, AC CH at the Australian National University on 30 April. The lecture was hosted by the Australian National University's Graduate Studies in International Affairs Program.

March 2007 - Commonwealth Day Celebration
A Celebration of the Commonwealth was held on March 12 in Canberra hosted by the Australian Centre for Christianity and Culture.
It was a multi-faith and multi-cultural celebration of the Commonwealth based on the Annual Westminster Abbey format.

March 2007 - Commonwealth Day Dinner
7pm for 7:30pm at the Great Hall University House, Australian National University. His Excellency The Governor-General and Mrs Jeffery wikk be attedning both Commonwealth Day events. The Governor General will speak at the dinner. $50 per head includes welcome drinks and a three course buffet meal.
