Aims and Objects

The Commonwealth Round Table in Australia (CRTA) has been revised to promote the Commonwealth and Australia's role in it. This site has been established to provide a mechanism to facilitate discussion, an exchange of views about Commonwealth issues, and access to a wide range of resources about the modern Commonwealth.

The CRTA will pursue its objectives through a modest range of activities focusing on:

annual Commonwealth lectures concentrating on Commonwealth Day (2nd Monday in March);
ocassional seminars and public forums;
publications;
interaction through this website; and
working with the Commonwealth Secretariat and other agencies in seeking a higher profile for the Commonwealth in Australia.
